We have extensive experience in producing CAD files for manufactured fine jewelry, custom order fine jewelry, fashion jewelry, accessories, watches, giftware, tabletop, medical and industrial proof of concept parts.

At 3D Factory our specialties include (but are not limited to) 3D printing and rapid prototyping in a variety of materials, jewelry manufacturing and outsourcing (casting, finishing, stone setting), 3D scanning and reverse engineering and custom CAD design work.

Remember, the more details that your specifications contain will allow us to produce a part that most resembles your original design at the most cost effective price. Include multiple views, stone sizes and shapes, type of setting, and curves for geometries that can not be scene in your views. It is also important to tell us if this is going to be a one of a kind or a production part so we can optimize the manufacturing process.

During our design process, we will send you renderings that can be viewed in 3D. From these renderings, you can advise any changes that you require. After your approval we can generate a prototype and have it cast or produce a production mold directly from our output.

Once you have your file, it is quick and inexpensive to generate other sizes and changes. You will find that the process will greatly reduce your modeling cost if used in this manner.

ProJet® 1200 micro-SLA Pro 3D Printer

The ProJet® 1200 is ideal for small, precise, detail-rich parts and casting patterns, such as jewelry, electronic components and dental wax-ups. Smaller than most coffee makers and faster than baking a cake, this new printer is economical to own, safe to operate anywhere and simple to use.

This revolutionary micro-SLA ProJet 1200 delivers unmatched part accuracy and surface smoothness.  With a 43 x 27 x 150mm (1.69 x 1.06 x 5.9 inches) print volume, the Projet 1200 prints 30 micron layers at a 585 dpi resolution resulting in fine feature-details reflecting true-to-CAD accuracy.

This printer integrates 3D Systems’ VisiJet® FTX Green material – a durable and rigid material that is tailored for plastic prototyping and casting patterns making it ideal for jewelers, dental labs, and designers of very small detail products such as collectibles and electronic component parts.
